Use:
5-Amino-o-Creso can be used as hair dye intermediate. 5-Amino-o-Creso is also used as semi-permanent&permanent hair colors for cosmetic. The substance is currently regulated as an oxidative hair dye by the Cosmetics Directive. 5-Amino-o-creso is used as a precursor in oxidative hair dying products with of maximum concentration on the scalp of 1.5%.
