DL-Tartaric Acid is colorless crystals or white power, without odor but with sour taste. DL-Tartaric Acid is stable in air, compound of equal quantity of dextro-rotatory and levo-rotatory. DL-Tartaric Acid usually contains one or two molecule crystalline water and will lose water when being heated to 100°C. The specific gravity of DL-Tartaric Acid is 1.697. Its solubility in ether is about 1% and 5.01 (25°C) in ethanol, in water is 20.60(20°C).

Usage:
Tartaric Acid is widely used in food, medicine, chemistry and light industry, etc.. Tartaric Acid is mainly used to manufacture Tartaric Acid salts, such as Potassium Sodium Tartrate. Tartaric Acid is used as beer foaming agent. Tartaric Acid is also applied in tanning, photo, glass, enamel and telecom materials industries. The acidity of Tartaric Acid is as 1.3 times as Citric Acid, so specially as acidifying agent for grape juice.
Package and Storage:
Tartaric Acid is packed in 25kg complex bags lined with double-layered kraft paper bags and film bag. Keep in the clear and dry storage shed.
