Property:

Sodium Citrate is colorless or white odourless crystal powder with salt taste, Sodium Citrate is steady in normal air. Sodium Citrate will lose crystal water when heated to 150℃. Sodium Citrate is readily soluble in water and difficultly soluble in ethanol.

Uses:

In food processing industry, Sodium Citrate used as buffer, chelating agent, nutrient additive, emulsifier, flavor for yoghurt. In pharmaceutical industry, Sodium Citrate used as anticoagulant and as preservative in syrup manufactured goods, buffer acidity acid in cold drink to prevent acid in dairy products, Sodium Citrate used as binder in cheese and minced meat, acid coagulant in jellies and jam, emulsifier and stabilizer, in cheese and ice cream.

Package and Storage:

Sodium Citrate is packed in 25kgs net bag (compound paper bag, with inner PE liner bag). Sodium Citrate is stored in cool, clear, dry and ventilative warehouse in well-closed containers. Sodium Citrate should be loaded, stored and transported separately from poisonous causticity substance.
