Property：

Cefuroxime Axetil tablets, USP contain cefuroxime as cefurox­ime axetil. Cefuroxime Axetil is a semisynthetic, broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration.

Cefuroxime Axetil tablets are film-coated and contain the equivalent of 250 or 500 mg of cefuroxime as Cefuroxime Axetil. Cefuroxime Axetil tablets contain the inactive ingredients microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, sodium lauryl sulfate, colloidal silicon dioxide, calcium stearate, calcium carbonate, crospovidone, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, propylene glycol, FD &C blue no.1 Aluminium lake.

Specifications：

0.2 M Monobasic ammonium phosphate-Dissolve 23.0 g of monobasic ammonium phosphate in water to obtain 1000ml of solution
Mobile phase-Prepare a suitable filtered and degassed mixture of 0.2M Monobasic amomonium phosphate and methanol(620:380).Make adjustments if necessary.

Usage:

Cefuroxime Axetil and other antibacterial drugs, Cefuroxime Axetil should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by suscep­tible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, Cefuroxime Axetil should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.

Package and Storage:

Keep in shaded, cool 25kg fiber drum and air places. The shelf time is 2 year.
