Maduramicin Ammonium Premix 1% is glycoside polyether ionophore antibiotic, which has the strongest anticoccidial effect and the lowest drug concentrations. Thus Maduramicin Ammonium Premix 1% is widely used in anticoccidiosis of chicken. The anticoccidail mechanism is to excited Na +, k + ,ATP of sporozoite so that concentration of Na + in sporozoite increases, leading to Cl + increases and make the sporozoite absorbent swelling and vacuolization. Coccidia has no osmotic pressure regulator so their its osmotic pressure changes, resulting in poor growth. Maduramicin Ammonium Premix 1% is effective in killing sporpzpite, their first and second asexual generations and merozoites.
